We may have had a lot of rain this spring but whatever the weather there will be plenty of fun at our yoga summer camp. There is so much to look forward to, we can hardly wait.

Our camp is held at Spinfield School in Marlow from 30th July to 3rd August and from 6th to 10th August. Each day starts at 10.30am and finishes at 4.00pm and any child between the ages of 3 and 15 is welcome.

Yoga camp is a wonderful, fun way to introduce your child to yoga. Children learn numerous yoga poses and will love to demonstrate them to you at home. Yoga games and stories will reinforce their learning as well as stimulating their imagination and creativity.

Each day begins with everyone doing yoga together. In between the children take turns at three main activities – arts and crafts, yoga and a “special activity” that is different every day. The “special” activities this summer include a puppet theatre, a mobile farmyard, cookery and jewellery making.

We try to ensure that children spend as much time as possible outside where we have trampolines, bouncy castles, scooters and more. The school grounds are beautiful and provide a safe and secure environment for the children to play and make their own fun. Not all children have the energy to keep going all day, so we have a quiet area with pillows and blankets where they can chill out or nap.

Details of the daily activities at RJ’s Yoga Summer Camp can be found on the children’s yoga camp page of the website together with information on how to book.

An account of last year’s Easter Camp can be read here and we have lovely photos from previous camps on our Facebook page. We also have this video from our 2011 Easter Camp.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

We are fortunate to have had a number of “RJ Yoga babies” since we opened our yoga studio. These are babies whose mums have come to our Antenatal classes and then come with their little ones to Mummy & Baby Yoga.

Today our first “RJ Yoga baby” is coming to RJ’s Easter Yoga Camp and it is a proud moment! A big girl now, aged 3, we are thrilled to welcome her. We hope that she enjoys her day and that we will continue to see her at classes and camps as she grows. We also hope that she will be the first of many “RJ Yoga babies” to continue to enjoy yoga.

RJ’s Easter Yoga Camp continues until 4th April at Spinfield School, Marlow. For more information and for dates of our Summer Camp see the children’s yoga camp page of our website.
