Many parents find yoga classes incredibly rewarding, helping to provide an emotional and physical balance that assists them in coping with the challenges of life with small children. However, many mums find it difficult to fit in a daytime yoga class as they have to arrange childcare.
To meet the needs of such mums, we have started an adult yoga class with a crèche at Monkton Barn Galleries, Monkton Lane, Marlow, SL7 3 RF, www.monktonbarngalleries.co.uk.
Monkton Barn Galleries lends itself perfectly to providing a yoga class with an adjacent crèche. The children are looked after in a light, airy room by an experienced childminder. The crèche is visible from the yoga studio through glass doors so your child is always within sight, should you feel the need for reassurance.
The class is small so that you get the maximum benefit from your hour of yoga. We ask mums to book a 4-week course – take part in the class for three weeks and help in the crèche for the fourth week on a rota system. This has the benefit of giving mum experience of how the crèche works, so that they are more able to relax and focus on themselves while in class.
The class takes place after Mummy and Baby Yoga, which is held from 10 to 11am. Some mums have found it has suited them and their babies to come to Mummy and Baby Yoga first, then stay on for a class for themselves while their little one is looked after in the crèche.
If you are interested in joining these classes, or would like more information please contact us.
